Divinity pickpocket

Nearly all chests or doors have keys, but those that don't can be smashed. Saying all that, it is a bit obscene just how many Legendary-tier items I can lift off a merchant with like 5 Thievery, but also kind of balanced against the fact it's one-time only per NPC. For money making it is redundant when you make cash hand over fist by stealing everything that isn't nailed down, and selling all the loot that starts rolling in past level 7 or so. 2) Go to ReSpec Mirror, and maximize the Henchman's Thievery Ability. Pickpocket enables Lucian to pickpocket non-player characters. Once you are on the Lady Vengence, you can: 1) Hire a Henchman from Sergeant Zrilla. Pickpocket is a Survivor skill in Divine Divinity. Yet I discovered a little known exploit to this.

You can't steal their armor, weapons or accessories as you could in Skyrim to tilt the fight vastly in your favor. After initiating the Missing Magisters quest, Magister Carver will task you to find Higba, the primary suspect of the missing Magisters. It's designed entirely to make sneaky play less viable outside of combat. Strange Cargo is a Quest in Divinity: Original Sin II, Act II. I'm now in Act 2 and using it for gear this time and sometimes even raw gold because you can't pickpocket any of the merchants in the Driftwood square without putting points into sneaking (I'm not even sure what it does, but I assume it reduces cones of vision on you?). Each of your Companions can pickpocket each NPC in the game only once, which limits the number of times each NPC can be pickpocketed. Pickpocketing in the current state makes little sense. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through Act 1 without stealing skillbooks as I sure as hell didn't have gold to buy even half of what I needed, and I spent ~30 hours in Act 1 and did everything, explored every nook and cranny.

I'm on my first playthrough on Classic and I kind of feel like the game is almost balanced around pickpocketing being so powerful though.
